Marine Designs prides itself in providing innovative marine access solutions for it’s clients. This innovation is based on our experience of working within the marine environment and understanding what that demands. We specialise in the provision of commercial berthing solutions and since 1994 we have been involved in the design manufacture and installation of large pontoons and floating piers for a variety of operators, ranging from ferries to rescue services, port operators and the offshore wind industry.

Since 2006 we have been part of the A & P Group and the company has access to a wide range of exceptional UK facilities including large dry docks and fabrication facilities for specific projects. With this resource there really is no limit to the size of any pontoon requirement you might have.

In 2007 the company introduced it’s award winning DockMaster concrete pontoon range which is a heavy duty system capable of providing berthing solutions for vessels upto 20,000 tonnage. The DockMaster pontoon system makes best use of the attributes of concrete in the marine environment to offer a long life product with excellent stability and wave attenuation performance. We work with Beckett Rankine to ensure that the best solution is provided for the specific application and location.

We use the latest 3D computer design to develop projects from concept through the structural and naval architecture phases to fabrication, this ensures design optimisation and client satisfaction. We can then install commission and provide through life support as required.
